Volunteers are the HEART of Heartlinks Grief Center!
Heartlinks has volunteers help with many different things throughout the year. Volunteers have the option of helping with any of the following tasks:
- Office Help (Filing, Data Entry, Office Organization)
- Craft Room Management (Organizing, preparing craft activities for counselors, putting away supplies)
- Miscellaneous Office Tasks (Filling informational folders for groups and volunteers, writing donation thank you notes, etc.)
- Group Night Support (Assisting with check-in, helping kids button nametags, supporting group leaders, playing with little kiddos)
- Occasional Social Events (Grizzlies Baseball Game, Family Picnic, Grief Carnival, Superbowl)
- Summer Outreach (Assisting counselors with activities during the summer at community agencies)
- Linus Blankets (Counting/Tagging Blankets, Packing blankets for community agencies)

How to Become a Heartlinks Volunteer
Volunteers need to attend an introductory training session – Heartlinks 101 – held periodically throughout the year and pass a criminal background and personal reference check.
